JOB- UX/UI Design – Malmo/Remote (275316)

Description :

UX Designer – Retail Review Digital Product Team

At Inter IKEA Group, we’re committed to delivering great customer experiences by enabling retailers to implement the IKEA concept consistently across a growing network of customer meeting points.

One of the key tools supporting this is the Retail Review system, a structured approach to assessing how well the IKEA concept is brought to life in stores and other meeting points.

We’re now rebuilding this system from the ground up as a digital product that supports the full review journey: from editing review content and in-store assessments to documentation and follow-up.

This tool will empower co-workers, reviewers, and leaders to drive continuous improvement and ensure the IKEA concept is implemented with quality and consistency at scale.

To make this happen, we’re looking for an experienced UX Designer with deep expertise in digital journeys to join our Retail Review Digital Product team.

What You’ll Do

As UX Designer, you'll be a part of a brand-new team, creating a much-needed tool from scratch to support the entire review process.

You’ll empower reviewers and administrators through one intuitive digital product that helps co-workers to implement the IKEA concept and create an excellent customer experience.

You’ll collaborate across teams to simplify complex systems and ensure a consistent and impactful retail experience for one of the world’s most recognizable brands.

Requirements:

Your Responsibilities Include:

· Create intuitive, scalable digital tools that help co-workers implement the IKEA retail concept across customer meeting points

· Translate user needs and business goals into clear, actionable solutions that enhance the in-store experience and operational efficiency.

· Simplify complex workflows, gaining deep understanding of the Retail Review process and translate into clear, user-friendly experiences.

· Work alongside user researchers and conduct usability testing to uncover insights and validate design decisions.

· Collaborate closely with your product development team and across teams, including Digital Product Leaders, Software Engineers, and Retail Review experts, to align design with objectives.

· Iterate based on qualitative and quantitative input, continuously improving the product experience and contributing to a culture of learning.

Who You Are

· You’re a UX Designer with 5 years of experience, confident in your craft and eager to grow through collaboration and shared learning.

· You have a strong grasp of user-centered design principles and know how to apply them to create intuitive, scalable digital tools.

· You’re empathetic and curious, always seeking to understand the context and challenges of co-workers who use the tools you design.

· You communicate clearly and confidently, advocating for the user and helping teams make informed design decisions.

· You embrace feedback as a catalyst for improvement, and contribute to a culture of open dialogue and continuous learning.

· You’re skilled in wireframing, prototyping and using design systems to create simple yet elegant User Interfaces, with proficiency in tools like Figma, Framer and Miro.

Why You’ll Love This Role

· Global Impact: Your designs will help shape the retail experience by supporting thousands of IKEA co-workers, enabling them to make a meaningful impact.

· Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. You’ll be working in a feedback-rich environment where your ideas and contributions matter.

· The power of the IKEA retail concept: Be at the heart of operationalizing the retail concept at scale. You’ll learn how the unique IKEA concept comes to life in retail experiences at all IKEA customer meeting points.

Ready to Make an Impact?

Are you passionate about designing digital tools that enhance the retail experience and empower co-workers to bring the IKEA concept to life in stores around the world?

If you're excited by the challenge of building solutions at global scale that simplify complexity and support operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you!

How to Apply:

Please submit the candidate’s CV and portfolio showcasing hands-on UX design expertise, particularly in designing tools that support retail operations or co-worker enablement.
