Background
We are building the next generation of support assisting tools for IKEA Remote customer meeting points and for co-worker self service.The person that joins on this temporary assignment until December needs to fit well with other team members to be able to deliver value as soon as possible.
The scope of the consultant services
Is to assist IKEA in architecting and building high-performance, scalable distributed system using GoLang and React.
Driving technical excellence through modern software engineering practices, ensuring long-term maintainability and system reliability.
Day-to-day tasks
Developing robust backend services in Go and crafting type-safe, responsive frontend components using TypeScript and React.
Designing and implementing efficient RESTful APIs while participating in architectural decision-making and peer code reviews.
Requirements
Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills
Extensive experience in full-stack development with an understanding of TypeScript, and cloud-native environments.
A pragmatic approach to software craftsmanship, focusing on clean code.

Senior-level proficiency React/TypeScript ecosystem for building complex, high-scale applications.
A strong architectural mindset combined with a "consultant-first" attitude toward solving business problems and mentoring others.
